We left them to dry in the sun (covering them at night with a tarp to keep the dew off) for about a week, and then the weather turned wet, so we spread them out on a tarp in the house to dry out further. I'm thinking they should dry out the rest of the way without any more sun, although it certainly wouldn't hurt.
